I would really like to check out a laptop and be able to take it to class.	Thank you for this suggestion.  We have passed along your request.  We are looking into what it would take to have iPads (4 hour campus use) available for check out; however staffing limitations may restrict this option due to privacy concerns (every iPad must be ‘cleared’ in between users.)

A fax machine that students can use please!	Thank you for your suggestion. We have a number of requests for a fax machine.  Unfortunately we are unable at this time to support this request.  We do have a scanner which you can use to scan and fax using one of the free Internet fax services. The College will be looking at a new printing/wireless service this year and we will request that the new service provide faxing options.

Lakewood Ranch
The hours (of the Learning Commons) are not very compatible with the life of a married nursing student.  Last semester I arrived at 8:00 am and was able to take care of ‘school’ things without the distraction of home life with 2 small children.  Please find a way to open the library (Learning Commons) at 8:00 am and open on Friday.	Thank you for this suggestion.  We have passed along your request.  We would love to have more staff available to be open more hours.  It helps knowing specific hours of need.

I really like that we can eat and drink in the main Library.  Can we please be allowed to eat and drink in the Learning Commons?  We’ll be careful! Thank you!	What a GREAT idea!  We are happy to report that the ‘no food and drink’ policy in the Learning Commons has been changed and you may now bring in food and drink!  We have ordered more trash cans and a paper towel dispenser in case of spills.
