One of the SCF Databases, [Testing & Education Reference Center] contains 6 eBooks, and an online practice test for the ASVAB.  From www.scf.edu/Library, log in, then click on A-Z databases, then click on Testing & Education. We will also consider purchasing a print book on the ASVAB.

Comments – We need to be able to print from laptops.	Thank you for this comment.  We have been told it is being worked on. We will forward it to the IT department.
Comment – We need to have double sided printing for the library.  There is no reason that this service should not be given to the students.	Thank you for this comment.  Double sided printing, if we had it, would incur a .10 cent charge per side.  We have been told we are unable to have double sided printing due to setup settings. We will forward your comment to Facilities & IT to inquire if this is now possible.
Comment – WE NEED double sided printed pages.  It takes no effort at all and will save paper & money for students drastically.  SAVE PAPER SAVE TREES! DVD-Dexter Season 4 & 5	Dexter Season 4 is owned by both Libraries.  The Bradenton copy is currently out.  Please keep checking.  Season 5 will go on our next order.

Comments – I think w should have a book club at SCF.	Thank you!  We are working on starting a Library Club for students and a book club would be a great activity.  We will let you know as we try to organize it this fall.

DVDs- ‘The Wire’ is an HBO TV program that is oft cited as the greatest, most important TV show ever.  It should be made available to students please.			Thank you for this suggestion.

Book-The ‘Missing Manual” is a great comprehensive series”			Thank you for this suggestion.  The Bradenton Library owns many of these titles. A number of them are currently checked out.  Please let us know if there is a specific title we do not already have, or ask a librarian for help requesting an item to be Held so that you are next in line to check it out.
Book- One Day			Thank you for this suggestion.  We do have this book as an Adobe eBook.  Please search our Discovery tool and click on ebook.  It will lead you to the TBLC  page that has information on how you can read this book or ask one of our librarians for assistance.  We will also look into purchasing this book in print.

Software- Rosetta Stone for Spanish			Unfortunately, Rosetta Stone is very expensive.  The public libraries, both Sarasota & Bradenton, own an online database called Mango that is a language learning program.  Please ask one of our librarians to show you how to access it. http://libguides.scf.edu/libary_hours_staff_local_libraries_location
