DVD- Waiting-the movie			Thank you for this suggestion.  The DVD budget is closed until after the next fiscal year (July) We will hold this title for purchase until then.
DVD- Need new versions of “the Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3			Both Bradenton & Venice Libraries have copies of this in their Student Choice Collections.  Both are currently checked out. Keep checking back frequently.
Comment- “You should have a display of the newest movies you just brought in.”			Thank you! This is an excellent idea.  We will set up a display area that says “New”.  Look for it at the END of the Student Choice DVDs.
Comment- “Card machine not working in the Library to add money to SCF ID Card in order to print papers”			We are working with IT and with the Go Print vendor to reduce these types of errors from happening. We are sorry and will forward your comment on to the SCF Business Office.

DVD- Devil’sArithmetic Night and Fog 2 DVDs for John Pau’ls EUH WW2 and the Holocaust class			The Bradenton Campus already has Night and Fog in VHS.  It is located upstairs with the books at D 805.5 .A96.   We will look into getting them in DVDs when the budget is available.

Comment- “More laptop outlets downstairs for more study groups so they are not forced to go upstairs & disturb the peace” J			Thank you.  We are attempting to put up more outlet signs downstairs.  Unfortunatly, we are unable to add more plugs.  We will inquire and see if we can get extension cords with outlets on them.

Book- Gone with the Wind			Thank you for this suggestion.  Venice has a print copy of this book.  We will look into purchasing a copy for Bradenton.
Book- Richard Dawkings-The God Delusion			We will look into purchasing this book.
DVD- Rosetta Stone			We assume you want a DVD on the Rosetta Stone, not the language software.  There are several DVDs from the History Channel we will investigate getting.
Books- Ada, or Ardor: A Family Chronicle by Nabokov			We will look into purchasing this book.
Books- Doctor Faustus : The Life of the German Composer Adrian Leverkuhn As Told by a Friend by Mann			We will look into purchasing this book.
Comment- “School should have security camera in the Library.”			We will pass along your request to the business office.
Comment- “Ever think of checking out mics?  Students are in need,…please consider”			The Library does have one microphone and just added another. Please ask at the Circulation Desk.
Comment- “A service where students can check out a computer mouse”			We will look into seeing if we can get a couple of mice for check out.
Comment- “I would like to see the 2nd floor “quiet area” enforced.  I need to use the Library to study and it is unbelievable the noise level that is allowed.  When I use the USF Library it is silent or at least very quiet as it should be in a library.  There are plenty of social areas on campus.  Social time needs to be out of the Library.”			Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We make every attempt to control the noise level when we realize it is too loud, and will endeavor to be more aware of when we need to ask people to be quiet. We have increased our signage upstairs and downstairs indicating group work should be done on the 1st floor and ‘quiet’ individual work should be done on the 2nd floor. We will also conduct more ‘walk throughs’ to enforce the quiet area. Please notify the staff if you feel it is too noisy.
Comment- “I would like to see the second floor also know as the ‘quiet area’ actually enforced to be quiet.  I come up here everyday to study and people are always talking loudly, listening to loud music (not being courteous).  I have complained numerous times and nothing changes.  I hope rules can be enforced for this.			This was concern for several people this week and we will work to better inform students of the rules.

DVD- The Reader			Both campus libraries own a copy of this DVD in Student Choice.  Keep checking back to see when it is available!
DVD- Into the Wild			We will look into purchasing this DVD.
DVD- Planet Earth, Wildlife documentary			There are several Planet Earth series.  We will investigate them and try to purchase the most appropariate set.
DVD- Weeds Season 6			We own seasons 1,2,3,4 & 5 so we will look into purchasing season 6.
DVD- Repo Men			We will look into purchasing this DVD.
Book- Utopia, you have a NetLibrary book, but it would be nice to get a print copy, please.			The Venice campus Library has a copy of Utopia.  Please ask a Librarian if you are unfamiliar with requesting items from the other campus.
Book- Babylon Revisited by Fitzgerald & Metamorphoses by Kafka			We will look into getting a copy of Babylon Revisited.  The Venice campus Library has a copy of Utopia.  Please ask a Librarian if you are unfamiliar with requesting items from the other campus.
Book- Rebecca by DuMaurier			We will look into getting a copy of Rebecca.
Book- Anything from diary of a Wimpy Kid series			We are in the process of increasing the number of titles from this series.
Book- A Man Called David Any Warriors books by Hunter Tears of a Tiger A Child Called it-we have several copies. Leviathan by Westerfeld-we have 2nd book. Missing H.P. books Graphic Novels for YA Space for YA			Thank you for these YA suggestions.
Comment- “I am having a lot of problems with citations.  I really appreciate if you can offer a background or class about it.  Tuesday – Thursday mornings are best.			Thank you for this suggestion! We have been considering offering APA and MLA open workshops for students.  Look for them in the coming weeks.  We will advertise in the Portal and in the Bradenton Library.

Comment- Please provide Mac computers so that students can print documents from the Pages program.			Thank you for your suggestion.  We will pass it along to IT.  In the interim, you may be able to save your document as a Rich Text File, which will allow you to open it in Word and print that way.

Comment- Laptops freeze up and just have a lot of complications with them!			Thank you for your comment.  The laptops were purchased in the fall of 2010 and get a great deal of use.  We service them the best we can but we will share your comment with IT and perhaps we can trouble shoot to determine if there is anything else we can do.
